Our School

Edge Middle school was officially established as a separate campus at the beginning of 1983-1984 school year. Edge has grades 6 through 8 and is home to 550 students as of the 2018-2019 school year. Edge has many programs that cater towards different interests such as band, choir, G.T., Cheer, Dance, Stuco, Art, Partners in P.E, N.J.H.S., S.T.E.M, clubs, etc.  CISD has been here for 71 years and is continuing to thrive. Every year, students are able to join subjects that interests them, as well as taking their mandatory classes. All 7th and 8th graders are given the opportunity to join athletics or sports. All grades may take gym, and 6th graders may take pre-athletics to prepare them for the following years. The sports the 7th and 8th graders may join are volleyball, football, basketball, and track teams. Our school has UIL Programs for many different subjects and anyone who chooses may try out. We have a program for special needs students and well behaved students to work together, called partners and P.E. , Stuco , Office/Library Aide program, and N.J.H.S. are students clubs that help out our school. Overall Edge Middle School is a very educational and inclusive environment for all. We would love for YOU to join our community.
